What is cannabidiol (CBD) and how does it work?
CBD, or cannabidiol, is one of more than 113 cannabinoids in agricultural hemp oil extract. Our own brains and other organs, immune system, glands, and connective tissues also produce cannabinoids naturally, forming a network of receptors that researchers have dubbed the Endocannabinoid System, or ECS. When ECS receptors are abundant and communicate as they should, your body achieves wellness and balance, a condition referred to as homeostasis. But when your body suffers a shortage of ECS receptors, your wellbeing suffers. The cannabinoids in hemp oil extract are perfectly designed by nature to support these existing cannabinoids where and when needed, helping your body maintain or establish homeostasis.
Why Full Spectrum?
How Is agricultural Hemp different form Marajuana?
Rest easy—there’s a notable difference between agricultural hemp and marijuana. Agricultural hemp is scientifically bred to produce quality fibers and healthful oils extracted from the mature stalks and seeds, yet it lacks elevated levels of tetrahydrocannabinol, or THC, a separate component found in marijuana that produces feelings of euphoria. For comparison, agricultural hemp contains only 0.3% THC or less, while marijuana typically contains 15-20 percent of THC. That means CBD oil, derived from agricultural hemp, is all about supporting health, not a high.
Will Hemp oil produce a high?
Zakah Life™ Hemp Oil Extract will not produce a high because it is organic and pure full-spectrum hemp oil, which is extracted from agricultural hemp scientifically bred to contain extremely low levels of THC (0.3% or less).
How can I be certain about the purity of your product?
Each lot of Zakah Life™ Hemp Extract Oil undergoes testing in independent labs, not once, but twice, to ensure safety, purity, and potency. We guarantee our products are derived from crops grown without chemical fertilizers, herbicides, and pesticides. We also offer a money-back guarantee.
Are Zakah Life’s™ hemp products legal?
On May 22, 2018, the Drug Enforcement Agency (“DEA”) released an internal directive1 regarding the presence of cannabinoids in products and materials. In essence, the directive of guidance for staff and field agents in the Department clarified the (already understood by many in the hemp industry) position that cannabinoids are in fact not illegal in and of themselves and that it depends upon the legal source of the product those cannabinoids are in to determine if the product falls in or outside of the Controlled Substances Act (the “CSA”). The directive states:
Products and materials that are made from the cannabis plant and which fall outside the CSA definition of marijuana (such as sterilized seeds, oil or cake made from the seeds, and mature stalks) are not controlled under the CSA. Such products may accordingly be sold and otherwise distributed throughout the United States without restriction under the CSA or its implementing regulations. The mere presence of cannabinoids is not itself dispositive as to whether a substance is within the scope of the CSA; the dispositive question is whether the substance falls within the CSA definition of marijuana.
The CSA defines “marijuana” as follows:
The term “marihuana” means all part of the plant Cannabis sativa L., whether growing or not; the seeds thereof; the resin extracted from any part of such plant; and every compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such plant, its seeds or resin. Such term does not include the mature stalks of such plant, fiber produced from such stalks, oil or cake made from the seeds of such plant, any other compound, manufacture, salt, derivative, mixture, or preparation of such mature stalks (except the resin extracted therefrom, fiber, oil, or cake, or the sterilized seed of such plant which is incapable of germination.

When dealing with Full Spectrum Hemp Oils, these amazing compounds amplify the “entourage effect” and create an even more beneficial product.
